Since 1970, although Towers music has changed and evolved with time, their musical roots and early influences are always evident in their recordings. You can also get a twin ticket to the sister park Loro Parque (which from memory is also a great day out - last visit was 10 years ago). A 2nd day only costs €17 and believe me, if we'd been staying more than 4 days, we would have returned. An excellent day - I can't wait to return with the rest of my family next year. Although I originally baulked at €34 each for the day's tickets, I quickly forgot about it. There's also a nice little bar at the end of the beach, where a refreshing beer isn't very expensive either :) The water in the "sea" is beautiful and there's a nice interlude between wave times (they are huge) for swimming. There's all sorts of choice from Thai food, to Pizza, burgers etc. Food here is extremely reasonably priced - we had a bowl of noodles each for €3. It's a fairly exhausting day, as you're climbing many steps for every ride to get to the top. And don't wear any necklaces, watches, bracelets as they'll make you take them off and you'll have to walk back up to the top to reclaim them. AND, if walking around bare foot - the ground understandably gets extremely hot, so either wear flip flops and leave them at the bottom of the ride entrance, or buy the funny sea shoes (great for kids) which you don't need to take off. Also, if you have kids with you, the staff are really hot on height checking, so make sure you've done that, and pass before you join the queue, as they will check again at the top. ![]() We were a 2, and paired up with other random 2's in the queue lines. There aren't many single people in queues to make up your 4, so you'll get to the top and have to hang around until one comes along. Sawardee is a new ride, in another area of the park - one of the best rides but it seemed that not many other people knew about it so we went round twice in quick succession! TIP: DO NOT go as a group of 3. The queues all move pretty quickly for the other rides as they're for 2/4 people at a time. The longest queue we experienced was for the Tower of Power - around half an hour. All around the edges of the ride exits there are deck chairs for non participants to relax/sunbathe in whilst waiting. A small one was adequate for our things and that was €3. Lockers are chargeable, with a refundable deposit. There are 3 locker areas to choose from, so we went to the closest one to the beautiful beach area. However, once in, the people seemed to disappear off to all different areas of the park pretty quickly. Then there was a queue inside where they make you hand over any food you may have in your bag - that's not allowed, although water seems to be ok (please note this if that's the only thing you take from this review!). The queue to get in was also long which didn't make us feel any better. We discovered it was Spanish school holidays on our first day in Tenerife, so we were a little nervous about going, especially to discover a holiday club of kids at the free bus stop. ![]()
